As we are enjoying this feature on our Facebook we are now bringing "Eriks Ipod Playlist" to the Blog. The Dages are a traveling folk. We take Vacation time seriously and spend hours planning our ventures. As we are motoring to New Orleans for Mardi Gras Erik jumped on the computer last Saturday to create yet another of his infamous Ipod playlists. No one and I repeat no one can make a playlist like Erik . Besides the fact we have over 80 kabillion songs in our library , he has a wide love of all genres of music. The true test of a travel Playlist is one that engages you with twist and turns. Giving you the favorites while sometimes giving a surprise. Heck Erin owes her life to her Dads playlists. Yup I was wooed 20 years ago by a mixed cassette tape. I guess it worked !!!
Eriks favorites playlist is now at 291 songs for 18.7 hours of "Rocking Fun" . After shuffling songs first up is Led Zeppelin Immigrant song. Enjoy this 1972 home video of a live performance. My first concert ever was Led Zeppelin in 1972. My big sis took me to see them when I was 12 years old. Dont remember much of it but I did pass on the tradition and took my little brother to see Kiss when he was 12. That is the beauty of the playlist of old songs. They trigger memories of good times!!!
